College inducts eight students into Order of Omega

Marietta College recently inducted eight students into the Order of Omega, a leadership honor society for members of fraternity and sorority organizations.

The new members are:

Hometown: Marietta, Ohio

Major: Environmental Studies

In order to be eligible to join the Order of Omega, students must have sophomore or higher standing, be engaged in leadership in the campus community, and have a GPA of 3.12 or higher.

Order of Omega is the national Greek leadership honor society, and the Mu Beta chapter of Order of Omega was charted at Marietta College on October 7, 1991, to recognize outstanding leadership among Greek community members.

The Mu Beta chapter has initiated more than 300 members into the organization since 1991.
