¯ Ludlow Township will hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. today. Budget and appropriations set. Organizational meeting 2021 to immediately follow.
¯ Watertown Township will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. Thursday at the Watertown Township VFD to conduct the year end business. The 2021 Organizational meeting will immediately follow.
¯ Reno Water and Sewer District will hold its regularly scheduled board meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 19, 2021 in the Reno Water office, 170 Mount Tom Road. The public is welcome to attend. Safe distancing will be practiced and masks are requested.
¯ A Marietta Unite America Walk will be held at 2 p.m. Friday beginning in the Becky Thatcher/Armory parking lot on Front Street. Four optional routes will be presented for walking. Attendees are asked to dress warmly, wear a mask, and keep a six foot distance. All residents are invited to attend.
¯ The Income Tax and Treasurer’s office is currently closed to the public until further notice. A drop box is located in front of the building. All taxpayers with a prearranged agreement should call the office at 740-373-4032 between the hours of 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for further assistance or with any questions.
¯ Washington County Auditor Matthew Livengood has begun the process of a state-mandated reappraisal of all properties. There will be appraisers visiting properties throughout the county through the end of 2021. New values resulting from the reappraisal will go into effect Jan. 1, 2023, and will be payable on the 2024 tax bills.
