Four lose homes in Belpre fire
While there were no civilian injuries in the early morning condominium fire in Belpre, an officer who responded did receive treatment after a large amount of smoke inhalation and four families are without their home, according to Belpre Volunteer Fire Department Chief Tony Cronin.
Cronin said the officer is all right and was discharged, and the Red Cross has reached out to the four families who lived in the condominium located at 100 B Belrock Avenue in Belpre.
The cause of the fire, which was called in at 3:15 a.m., is still under investigation.
The Belpre City Police Department also responded to the fire.
