Guitar camp set for June

The High Schools That Rock music program will host its 21st annual guitar and music camp June 6-10 in Marietta.

Classes offered are beginning guitar, music exploration (banjo, ukulele, bass, hand percussion, keyboards), beginning ukulele and advanced guitar.

Classes will be held at the Ely Chapman Center, 403 Scammel St.

Each class will meet for 55 minutes daily. Students may sign up for multiple classes. Admission into advanced guitar is at the discretion of the instructor.

The enrollment fee for the camp is $30 and includes a HSTR T-shirt and a light lunch on June 10, prior to the performance for parents and friends.

Camp enrollment and free access to instruments is limited. Parents should contact Mark Doebrich at 740-336-4183 or gradearocknroll@gmail to secure a spot in the HSTR guitar and music camp prior to June 4.
