Career Center hires Industrial &
Customized Training Manager
The Washington County Career Center’s Adult Technical Training Center announced the hiring of Curt Copen as the Industrial & Customized Training Manager.
Adult Technical Training Director Tony Huffman commented, “Copen’s experience and knowledge will be an asset to WCCC Adult Tech by ensuring the school continues to be a leader in the community for industrial training. His background and experience are ideal for the hands-on training the school provides to the students. I like the way he advanced himself through the ranks at DuPont/Chemours as packout, chemical operator, and then supervision in both that area and maintenance. That kind of experience and ‘ladder-climbing’ will position him well for this position.”
“I look forward to working with our students and preparing them for the future,” says Copen. “The area employers are in need of skilled workers and I look forward to being a part of training the next generation.
