Stonewall hires VP, Director of Web Development

Leslie Crooks, President of Stonewall Group, a strategic marketing services firm headquartered in Marietta, has announced the hire of Eric Griffiths to the position of Vice President, Director of Web Development.

Griffiths will be responsible for implementing the ongoing development of websites for Stonewall Group clients providing strategic planning, development, execution and implementation.

Prior to joining Stonewall Group, Griffiths was the owner of Ohio Web Pro working for marketing agencies and companies throughout the state of Ohio developing websites and mobile apps. According to Leslie Crooks, “Eric has tremendous technical skills and a broad base of knowledge in developing websites for many companies and organizations across diverse industries.” Crooks added, “Equally as important, Eric has an understanding of the importance of the client experience, great written and verbal skill sets, and is a team player working across multiple agency disciplines.”

Incumbents re-elected to Washington

Electric Cooperative board

Washington Electric Cooperative members re-elected Paul Fleeman of Lower Salem, Larry Ullman of Graysville, and Brent Smith of Caldwell to the co-op’s board of trustees.

Candidates also included Jedd Butler of Newport, Peggy Byers of Marietta, and Shawn Ray of Cumberland.

A total of 1,873 Washington Electric consumer-members cast their votes in the mail-in election. Due to health and safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the cooperative announced the results via a live Facebook stream on May 14. The winners will each serve three-year terms on the seven-member board.

The cooperative’s annual meeting, originally scheduled for May 14, has been postponed until June 25 and will also take place online.

Community Bank adds to Lending Team

Community Bank of Parkersburg President Susan Barber has announced that Renee Harold is the newest Loan Officer to join the bank’s credit team.

A native of Weston, West Virginia, and a graduate of Glenville State College with a degree in Business Administration, Renee brings 26 years of banking experience to her position, during which she focused on consumer and mortgage lending. Most recently she was a full-service lender in Ohio, providing complete application-to-closing service and support for homebuyers.

“Renee brings valuable experience and skill sets to her position that enable her to deliver exceptional responsiveness to our customers,” states Barber.

Being married to a former college basketball coach has taken Renee to many communities where she has worked for community, regional and national banks, and provided experiences that shape her perspective and purpose today.

“Working at Community Bank is a great fit for me,” she reports. “I’m a people person and passionate about helping my customers achieve financial success.”
