¯ The Operations Committee of the Warren Local Board of Education will meet at 4 p.m. Feb. 16. The regular Board meeting will follow at 5 p.m. and begin with a working session to review and discuss the operational and capital budget items for the upcoming fiscal year. The regular monthly business meeting of the Board will begin at 6 p.m. All meetings will be held at the Warren Administration Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent.
¯ Grandview Township will hold 2021 regular meetings at 6 p.m. the first Monday of each month at the township hall. The following months will be held on different dates: Feb. 16, July 6, and Sept. 13. These meetings will also be held at 6 p.m.
¯ Decatur Township will hold its monthly public meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the township building on Welch Road in Cutler.
¯ Beverly American Legion Post 389 will host a public steak fry from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the post home, 114 Fifth St., Beverly. The cost is $15 and includes steak, a baked potato, salad and a roll.
¯ Knights of Columbus 4617 in Churchtown, Ohio will sell take-out meals for the Super Bowl Feb. 7. The meal costs $12 and includes one pound of pulled pork, baked beans, and coleslaw. ¯ St. Mary Catholic School will host a Lenten Drive-thru Fish Fry from 5-7 p.m. every Friday starting Feb. 19-March 26. The meal includes fried fish, french fries, green beans and coleslaw. ¯ AARP Tax-Aide is offering free tax return preparation for all taxpayers on Mondays and Thursdays Feb. 1-April 12. There will be no walk-ins and masks are required due to COVID-19. Taxpayers should bring all tax documents and a copy of last year’s tax returns, plus a photo ID and Social Security cards for all family members.
