¯ Washington Co. Agricultural and Mechanical Society will hold a fundraising committee meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Civitan Building, 922 Front St. The meeting is open to the public.

¯ The annual FLEDA (Frontier Local Economic Development Association) meeting has been canceled due to Covid-19.

¯ The time for Barlow Township’s meeting scheduled for Monday has been changed to 8 p.m.

¯ The November Senior Club Meeting and Luncheon date has been changed. It will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 17. A boxed lunch will be provided. Call the O’Neill Center at 740-373-3914 to reserve your place for the meeting.

¯ The Fiscal Year 2022 (Round 16) committee meeting of the Natural Resources Assistance Council will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 18 at Buckeye Hills Regional Council, 1400 Pike St., Marietta, to rate and rank the Fiscal Year 2022 (Round 16) application submissions. ¯ The Marietta High School Class of 1955 will hold meetings at 11:30 a.m. the second Monday of each month at the Harmar Tavern, 205 Maple St. All classmates and friends welcome.

¯ Liberty Township will hold 2021 regular monthly meetings at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month.

¯ Decatur Township will hold its monthly public meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the township building on Welch Road in Cutler.

¯ Mid-Ohio Valley Citizens Action Coalition will meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month at Freedom Gate Church, Tennis Center Road, Marietta. See the organization’s website for more information.


¯ Christ United Methodist Church at 301 Wooster St., Marietta, will hold a free meal from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today.

¯ Matamoras #374, Free and Accepted Masons, 301 Main Street, will hold a community breakfast buffet from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, hash browns, biscuits, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, orange juice, and coffee. The public is invited to attend. Carry-out available. Suggested donation is $7 per person.

¯ The Warren Local Band Boosters will hold their 42nd Annual Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the brand new campus of Warren Local Schools.

¯ Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church will hold its annual turkey dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the church on Stanleyville Road. The meal is take-out and will include turkey, all of the fixings and dessert. Proceeds benefit church missions. To preorder, call 740-473-2792 or 740-336-9924.

¯ The First Congregational Church will hold a drive-thru baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The menu includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, a roll and dessert for $10. Dinners must be pre-ordered by calling 740-373-0741 before 11 a.m. Nov. 5.

¯ Our Lady of Mercy CWC is taking orders for homemade chicken pies, noodles, and angel food cakes through Sunday. Frozen chicken pies are $13 each, noodles are $7 per bag and are available in wide or narrow width, angel food cakes are $6 each.
