¯ The Palmer Township Trustees regular meeting will be held today.

¯ The Organizational meeting of the Board of Education of the Warren Local School District will be held at 6 p.m. today at Warren High School, rooms 1710-1711, 130 Warrior Drive, Vincent. The Board’s January regular meeting will follow immediately afterward.

¯ The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold an annual organizational meeting and regular board meeting at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Ewing School, 1701 Colegate Drive, Marietta. All meetings of the WCBDD are open to the public.

¯ Reno Area Water and Sewer District will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Reno Water Office Building, 170 Mount Tom Road. Public welcome. Safe distancing will be practiced and masks are requested because of COVID.

¯ The Marietta High School Class of 1955 will hold meetings at 11:30 a.m. the second Monday of each month (today) at the Harmar Tavern, 205 Maple St. All classmates and friends welcome.

¯ Liberty Township will hold regular monthly meetings at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month (today).

¯ Warren Township Trustees will hold meetings at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month (today) at the Township office, 95 Coffman Road, Marietta.

¯ Decatur Township will hold its monthly public meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the township building on Welch Road in Cutler.

¯ Ludlow Township will hold regular monthly meetings the last day of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.

¯ Mid-Ohio Valley Citizens Action Coalition will meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month (today) at Freedom Gate Church, Tennis Center Road, Marietta. See the organization’s website for more information.

¯ Watertown Township Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meetings in 2022 at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month (today) at the Watertown VFD.


¯ The Tunnel-Warren Chapel United Methodist Churches will provide free community meals from 5-6 p.m. Thursday as drive-through pick-ups in the lower parking lot. The menu includes vegetable beef soup or chili, cornbread, diced peaches, a bar cookie and bottled water. To reserve a meal, call Amy at 740-516-0847. Tunnel UMC is located at Ohio 550 and Coffman Road. Drivers are asked to wear a mask.

¯ Beverly American Legion Post 389 will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5-7 p.m. Friday. Meal costs $9 and includes fries and coleslaw. Music to follow by Sam Clark from 7-10 p.m.
