Man accused of supplying deadly heroin in OD

A Marietta man was arrested in connection with the Jan. 16 heroin overdose death of Tyler Miller, 725 Center St., Beverly.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan Vogt, 26, of 1915 Silver Globe Rd., Marietta, after a search of Vogt’s residence and cell phone showed the two individuals knew each other and were allegedly conducting drug deals as far back as October 2015.

The cause of Miller’s death was determined after investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Montgomery County Coroner to be heroin intoxication.

Miller was a 2013 graduate of Waterford High School. Vogt is charged with involuntary manslaugher, a felony.
