Wisconsin man pleads guilty to robbing Marietta McDonald’s

From staff reports

The Wisconsin man who robbed a Marietta McDonald’s in August is scheduled to be sentenced in December.

Donald B. Sirrell, 58, of Kenosha, Wis., pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, on Friday.

He’s scheduled for sentencing in Washington County Common Pleas Court at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 4, according to the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks said Sirrell remains in the custody of the jail pending that sentencing.

Sirrell’s bond remains at $250,000, which was set in Marietta Municipal Court based on Sirrell’s history of numerous arrests for aggravated robbery in Wisconsin.

Sirrell left the Glendale Road McDonald’s with between $600 and $700 and was later located by Marietta police at the Hackett Hotel, along with the BB gun he used to persuade the restaurant manager to give him the money.

The maximum sentence Sirrell faces is 11 years in prison.

Starting at $2.99/week.
