Michael Jarvis, 18, of Marietta, receives information about available jobs from Noble Correction Institution’s Nicole Anderson and Joyce Lambert at the inaugural MOV Career Connect Thursday. The event featured 140 vendors from around the area promoting jobs at their companies at the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center on the campus of Marietta College. The event was put on by Washington State Community College, Marietta College, the Washington County Career Center, Job and Family Services and Building Bridges to Careers. The organizations and schools agreed to hold a joint event instead of having individual job fairs at their own locations.
