The Beverly Library and The Beverly-Waterford Community Pool Committee will host a family movie night at the pool from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday. The cost is $5 or free for children under 3. Attendees will get a bag of popcorn and concessions will be available.

Children who completed the Summer Reading program at the Beverly Library may attend the Summer Reading Pool Party from 6 to 9 p.m. July 25. Watermelon, lemonade and games will be available.

The Reno Volunteer Fire Department is seeking donations of pies, cakes and baked goods for their ice cream social July 27. Donations maybe dropped off at the Reno Community Center, 260 Sandhill Road, the evening of July 26 and the morning of July 27. Due to health department regulations, no cream pies or desserts will be accepted.

Ullman Street Church of Christ, 512 Ullman St., Beverly, will host Vacation Bible School July 21-25 at 6 p.m. on Sunday, and 6:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday for children of all ages. Adult supervision is required. Adult classes will also be available with a different speaker each evening. Everyone is invited to attend.

The MOV Gift of Life Dice Run will be held July 27, starting at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3665, 110 Fifth St., Beverly. The cost is $15 per person or $20 per couple. All vehicles are welcome. The event will include raffles, 50/50, door prizes, auctions and more. First vehicle out at 11 a.m., last vehicle in by 5 p.m. Entertainment and hog roast starts at 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for those not in the dice run. All proceeds benefit the MOV Gift of Life Program.

Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department will host the annual ice cream social and barbecue chicken dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3 at 102 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta. The event will include a country store, bingo, raffles, inflatables and music by Phase II.
