The Aurelius Lodge 308 will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lower Salem Community Hall. All proceeds go to charity.

The regular monthly board meeting for Marietta City Schools will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at 111 Academy Drive in the board office.

The Beverly Library staff will host a Halloween event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Dodge Park featuring pumpkin painting, face painting, crafts, a scavenger hunt, a pumpkin pie baking contest and more. The event will also include performances by Mad Science of Northeast Ohio, Cirque du Papier and J.D. Williamson. Marietta Chapter #59 OES will have its annual installation of officers for the ensuring year of 2020 on Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. The installing officers for the evening will be Worthy Grand Patron Charles Merckle and Diane Merckle, Past Matron of Matamoras Chapter. Installing Marshal Barbara Fischer, Past Matron of Valley Chapter, Installing Chaplain David Merckle, Past Patron of Matamoras Chapter and Installing Organist Twila Childs, Past Matron of Harrisonville Chapter. Potluck refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Medication Take Back Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. This is an opportunity to anonymously dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medication, no questions asked. Disposal sites include: The Belpre Senior Center, Belpre; Corner of Second and Putnam streets, Marietta; White Oak Pharmacy, Barlow; Fort Frye High School, Beverly; Buckeye Hills/Area Agency on Aging, Reno; Devola Medical Center; Hardwood Components, New Matamoras.
