The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption Holiday Bazaar will be held Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Social Hall, 506 Fourth St., Marietta. The sale will include holiday cookies, candy, a variety of baked goods, holiday crafts, holiday gift items and Rada Cutlery. This event is sponsored by the Catholic Women’s Club.

O’Neill Center will visit Dresden on Dec. 10. The trip will include lunch at The Warehouse, the Cambridge Courthouse Light Show and shopping in Dresden and Cambridge. The cost of the trip is $38. For additional details or to sign up, call O’Neill Center at 740-373-3914.

The 30th season for WMOA Radio’s Christmas Zoo will begin Nov. 29 in the window of The Workingman’s Store on Putnam Street in downtown Marietta. New stuffed animal donations can be dropped off at The Workingman’s Store, 109 Putnam St., Marietta and monetary donations can be sent to the Marietta Community Foundation, P.O. Box 77, Marietta, C/O the WMOA Christmas Zoo Fund or dropped off at their office on the corner of Front and Putnam. Any organization wishing to be on the distribution list should contact WMOA Radio Station Manager, Brenda Padgitt, at 740-373-1490 by Dec. 15.

The Marietta Band Boosters 27th annual Craft Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Junior Fair Building at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Admission is $2 and proceeds benefit the Marietta Band program.

The Research & Identification of Early Occupancy of Southern Ohio (RIEOSO) will celebrate National Native American Indian Heritage Month from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cutler Community Center, 4550 Two Mile Run Road. The event will include native art and artifacts and discuss the journey and makeup of the Nahyssan Nation and their plans for the future.
