Disabled American Veterans Chapter 52 to host a Christmas dinner party

Disabled American Veterans Chapter 52 will host a Christmas dinner party at the Lafayette Hotel Tuesday in lieu of the regular monthly meeting. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Call Robert Fitzgerald to choose dinner entree (stuffed chicken, baked salmon or prime rib) as soon as possible. Beverly-Waterford Christmas Parade, Monday

The Muskingum Valley Beverly-Waterford Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Parade will be held Monday. The parade forms at Waterford High School at 4:30 p.m. and will begin at 5:30 p.m. The parade will end at Dodge Park with a lighting ceremony to follow. There will be refreshments by the Beverly Lions Club, photos with Santa and entertainment.

The Riverside Artists Gallery in Marietta to feature new art for holiday season

The Riverside Artists Gallery in Marietta will feature Ken Terry, a photographer from Marietta, and John Monk, a coppersmith from Caldwell, for the holidays. Events include: Friday, Moonlight Madness; Dec. 7, a copper ornament making class from 1 to 5 p.m.; and a Gallery Holiday Open House on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit riversideartistsgallery.com. Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet Company will present ‘The Nutcracker’

Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet Company will present its annual performance of the beloved holiday classic, “The Nutcracker,” in two performances: Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Marietta High School auditorium and Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Blennerhassett School auditorium. Tickets are available at the MOVB offices at 1311 Ann St., Parkersburg. Box office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Seats are reserved and the cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children under the age of 16 and seniors over the age of 60.
