Marietta FFA Alumni will hold a benefit for Kenadee Antill on Feb. 1 in the Washington County Junior Fair Building. Doors open at 6 p.m. and there will be a square dance from 8 to 11 p.m. The cost is $5 per person or $8 per couple. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, concessions, cake walk, country store and entertainment from the Buckeye Travelers. Kenadee is a 3-year-old from Vincent who was recently diagnosed with Wilms Tumor cancer. The benefit will help with the family expenses as she is being treated at Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

The Marietta Family YMCA will hold its second annual health and wellness fair from noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Elizabeth Sugden Broughton Community Building Complex 1, 619 State Route 821, Marietta. There will be vendors, prizes and a light lunch. The fair is free to attend.

The Belpre Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. today at the township office, 335 Baker Road, Little Hocking.

The Washington Soil & Water Conservation District is holding its annual tree sale now through Feb. 14. Edible trees, conifers, plants for bees, and wildlife boxes are available. Call 740-885-3318 or visit the website washingtoncountyswcd.com for an order form.

The Washington County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Public Library, 615 Fifth St., in the lower level meeting room. No speaker is planned and members are encouraged to bring family research experiences or items significant to their family history. Visitors are always welcome at the meetings and free parking is available on the street and in the adjacent parking lot. The facility is handicapped accessible.
