Campus Martius Museum will host the 11th annual Contemporary Gunmakers & Allied Artists Show Feb. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature traditional artisans who recreate the working tools of the 18th and 19th century frontier settlers and hunters. Many of the artists are nationally recognized for their work. The cost of admission is regular museum admission.

The Mid Ohio Valley Beekeepers’ Association will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Washington County Career Center. All are welcome to attend. Kenny Bach will give a presentation on using double screen divider boards in hives.

Washington Electric Cooperative consumer-members receiving service from the Rinard Mills substation will experience a power outage on Wednesday. The outage will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to last until about 3 p.m. to allow crews to re-route distribution lines and energize the new Rouse substation. The outage will affect members in Graysville, Rinard Mills, Marr, Sycamore Valley and surrounding areas in Monroe County, as well as Germantown, Dalzell, Wingett Run and surrounding areas in Washington County.

Matamoras #374, Free and Accepted Masons at 301 Main St. will hold a community breakfast buffet Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. The breakfast will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, hash browns, biscuits, pancakes, a cinnamon roll, orange juice and coffee. The public is invited to attend. Carry-out is available. The suggested donation is $5 per person. Profits from the breakfast benefit Ohio Special Olympics, Grand Lodge of Ohio Charitable Foundation, Ohio Masonic Home and local charities.

The Washington County Fair Board will host a spaghetti dinner/gun raffle Feb. 29 at the Jr. Fair Board Building, 922 Front St., Marietta. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner starts at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under. Gun raffle tickets are $20 for a total of five guns. There will be a live auction, silent auction and 50/50 throughout the event. The fair board office will be open on every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon starting Feb. 1 to purchase tickets.
