The Memorial Health System and insurance company Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield have reached a multi-year agreement after 10 months of negotiation, according to a statement on the Memorial Health System website.

“Memorial Health System is pleased to share our heath system will remain in network with Anthem BC/BS for members of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plans. The negotiation between the health system and Anthem has been finalized,” the statement said.

The agreement will remain in place through Sept. 30, 2022, the website said.

Memorial is the largest health care provider in Washington County, and Anthem BC/BS is the system’s largest insurance carrier.
