American Revolution program at museum

The Brigade of the American Revolution School of Instruction will be held at the Campus Martius Museum Saturday. The program is a nonprofit living history association dedicated to recreating the life and times of the common soldier of the American War for Independence, 1775-1783. Speakers begin at 10 a.m. The cost is regular museum admission.

Marietta schools kindergarten signups

Marietta City Schools will hold kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year at the following locations: Putnam Elementary, March 30; Washington Elementary, March 31; Harmar Elementary, April 1; Phillips Elementary, April 2. Parents will be called for an appointment time to bring registration paperwork to their respective building. Children 5 years of age on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to enroll.

High school art show at Riverside gallery

The annual Mid-Ohio Valley High School Art Show at Riverside Artists Gallery will begin March 3 and continue through the month of March during normal hours. A special opening will be held for the students March 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. during the First Fridays event, and an award ceremony will be held March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. The gallery will include nine schools and more than 75 works of art.

Clothing sale at food pantry thrift store

The Western Washington County Food Pantry thrift store on High Street in Vincent will hold a $2-a-bag sale now through Thursday. Hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. Summer clothes will be ready April 6.
