The 17th annual Fur Ball will be held March 28 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Marietta Shrine Club. The event will include dancing, music by The Bash, a BBQ dinner by Joe Momma’s Kitchen, desserts by The Sweet Stop, photo booth, live auction, country store and a 50/50 drawing. Warren Local Schools Kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year will take place April 6-8. Students need to turn 5 on or before Aug. 1 to register. For more information or to register, visit the website warrenlocal.org.

The Marietta Oldtimers Softball League is now open for registration. The registration fee is $50 and the deadline is May 1. Those interested in umpiring are asked to call Jimmy Kidd at 740-516-8100 or Jimmy Farley 740-885-8799.

Barlow Presbyterian Church will host a community luncheon March 4 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The menu will include chipped beef gravy, creamed chicken, biscuits, peas, green beans and desserts. Barlow Presbyterian Church is located at Ohio 550 and Warrior Drive.

OSU Washington County Master Gardener volunteers will hold a Garden Party March 31 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic School, 320 Marion St., Marietta. The keynote speaker will be Erick Carlson, Biology professor at Marietta College. The $20 registration fee includes refreshments and handouts for breakout sessions. A drawing will be held at the end of the program.
