The Marietta/Belpre Health Department has resumed immunization clinics in both Marietta and Belpre. Appointments for childhood and adult immunizations are available with modifications to maintain the health and safety of our clients and staff. Services will be scheduled by appointment only; health screenings will be completed prior to entry and everyone over the age of 2 should wear a mask while inside the facility. Appointments will be available on Mondays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Marietta office located at 304 Putnam St. Immunization clinics at the Belpre office located at 715 Park Ave. will resume on June 17 from 8 a.m. until noon.

High Schools That Rock will offer its 19th annual Guitar Camp, online for students in elementary, middle or high school via Zoom. Individual classes are held on the hour and half-hour daily during the week of June 8-12 with the first class starting at 9 a.m. Early registration fee is $15. Enrollment is limited and filled on a first come, first served basis.

The Tunnel-Warren Chapel United Methodist Churches will provide free community meals on June 11. The menu includes a pulled pork sandwich (barbecue or plain), cole slaw, dill pickle, fruit cup, chips, snack cake and a bottle of water. Meals will be served as drive-thru pick-ups in the church parking lot from 5 to 6 p.m. Please remain in the car; do not come inside any of the church buildings. Meals should be reserved by calling or texting Amy at 740-516-0847, or by responding to Tunnel UMC Facebook page’s Community Meal post. Tunnel UMC is located at Ohio 550 and Coffman Road.

Marietta Area Recycling Center has reopened. New hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Access to the site will be closed for drop-off of recyclables during closed hours. For the COVID-19 protocol and more information, call 740-373-3372 or visit the Facebook page.
