Reno Water and Sewer District will hold the regularly scheduled monthly meeting July 21 at 6 p.m. in the Reno Water building, 170 Mount Tom Road. The public is welcome to attend. Social distancing will be practiced.

The Right Path for Washington County, along with community partners, will provide free fresh fruits and vegetables to youth and families through the 2020 Community Mini Farmers Markets from 10 a.m. to noon. The dates are: July 4 – West Muskingum Park, Marietta; July 11 – Civitan Park, Belpre; and July 18 – 100 Harrison St., Newport Elementary.

The Tunnel-Warren Chapel United Methodist Churches will provide free community meals July 9. The menu includes ham, potato salad, baked beans, a dinner roll, dump cake and a bottle of water. Meals will be served as drive-thru pick-ups in the church parking lot from 5 to 6 p.m.; remain in the car. The Devola Pool, 1300 River Road, will hold two new evening swim events. Every Friday the pool will be open after hours from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for open swim. The cost is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. The concession stand will be open for guests. Every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. the pool will be open for lap swims, which will be free for members and $3 for non-members.

The Washington County Health Department will be closed Friday in observance of the July 4th holiday. Offices will reopen July 6 with regular business hours.
