The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold a regular meeting at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting will be held virtually. Those wishing to participate are asked to contact Brenda Riffe at briffe@wcbdd.org.

The Village of Lowell will be flushing hydrants today through Thursday beginning at 8:30 p.m. each day. This includes all hydrants in the village. For more information, call the water office at 740-896-3046.

The PERI (Public Employees Retirees, Inc.) meeting originally scheduled for Sept. 9 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tunnel-Warren Chapel United Methodist Churches will provide free community meals Sept. 10. The menu includes cheeseburger macaroni, green beans, applesauce, cookies and bottled water. To follow COVID-19 guidelines, meals will be served as drive-thru pick-ups in the lower parking lot from 5 to 6 p.m. Remain in your car. The Zonta Club of the Mid-Ohio Valley has canceled its Fall Unique Boutique Clothing Sale originally scheduled for November due to Coronavirus concerns. All clothing donations can be made at the spring sale in 2021. Those who would like to make a monetary donation to the club to help with service projects can mail checks to: Zonta Club of MOV P.O.
