AmeriCorps Seniors are collecting new and gently used coats for kids to be distributed to kids and adults in Washington County.

Distribution will take place at Arnold Magnetic, Kroger (11/25), the Original Pizza Place, Marietta Memorial Hospital (Marietta and Belpre), The O’Neill Center, Washington County Library, Washington State College of Ohio and the Washington County Courthouse.

Distribution will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in November (except Thanksgiving) and Dec. 3 and 5 at the Dime Bank Building at Second and Putnam streets, Marietta. Urgent needs include coats for children sizes 3 months to 10 years and hoodies for children sizes 10 to 14/16 and up. For more information, go to the AmeriCorpsSeniorsRSVP Facebook page.
