Oakwood Avenue to receive sewer repair
The Marietta Wastewater Department will conduct maintenance, repair and replacement work on the sanitary sewer system in the Oakwood Avenue area this week.
In a press release, the Wastewater Department stated heavy equipment could be used in the area between today and Wednesday.
As part of the project, concrete will be poured into the street following a previous sanitary sewer repair at 232 Oakwood Ave.
During construction, Oakwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Colegate Drive to Chestnut Street. Additionally, parking will not be permitted on either side of the road within the designated construction area.
