PARKERSBURG — Auditions will be held from 4:15 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Smoot Theatre in Parkersburg for “Hercules” by the Missoula Children’s Theatre.

Advanced preparations are not needed.

Among the roles to be cast are the mighty Hercules; the philosophers Androcles, Socrates and Aristotle; Zeus; Hera; Helen of Troy; the announcers Homer and Archimedes; Pegasus; the Lion; the cyclops; the savvy Influencers; the competitive Olympians; and the mighty Titans. Roles are available for all ages, grades K-12.

Assistant directors will be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery and props. Tour actors and directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week.

“Hercules” will be presented at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Smoot. Tickets may be purchased online at smoottheatre.com.
