Voting begins Wednesday for The Marietta Times Readers’ Choice Awards
Time again to cast votes in the annual Marietta Times Readers’ Choice Awards.
In the nomination round in May, votes were cast for reader-nominated businesses, which are now down to the top five vote getters in each category.
More than 1,000 businesses competed in 10 categories and 206 subcategories, said Advertising Director Lisa Northcraft for The Marietta Times.
Categories are Body and Soul, Entertainment and Travel, Food and Dining, Health, Home and Garden, Kids and Education, Pets, Services, Shopping and Vehicles.
Voting opens Wednesday and runs through June 17. The top five finalists in each category will be introduced in a special section on Wednesday.
“This is the time to choose the winners,” Northcraft said. “Readers have been excited in narrowing the more than a thousand nominees to their favorite businesses. We appreciate their help in discovering the hidden gems and fantastic businesses in the Mid-Ohio Valley.”
Readers can vote once per day per category at mariettatimes.com/readerschoice to crown one winner and two finalists in each category.
Votes will be tallied by an independent third party and winners will be announced July 21.
