graduates from North Greenville University

Allysa Yeater of Belpre graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education degree from North Greenville University at a commencement ceremony May 4.

A baccalaureate degree student whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.5 graduates Cum Laude, those with at least a 3.75 graduate Magna Cum Laude and those with at least a 3.9-grade point average graduate Summa Cum Laude.

Area student receives Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree

Joanna Dauber of Marietta was among the 260 graduates awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine at the college’s 128th commencement. The ceremony was held at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on May 24.

Dr. Dauber is the daughter of Linda and William Dauber of Marietta. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and archaeology from Bryn Mawr College in 2009. Dr. Dauber is continuing her medical training in family medicine at Christiana Care in Wilmington, DE.

Criminal justice

student named to Dean’s list at B-W

Nathan Matthews of Marietta, a graduate of Marietta Senior High School majoring in Criminal Justice, has been named to the Dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean’s list.
