Frontier Alumni Association presents two scholarships

The Frontier Alumni Association 1969-1990 presented two $500 scholarships at the recent 2019 Frontier High School graduation held May 24. This is the eighth year that two seniors have received a scholarship from the alumni. Jeff Beaver, 1976 alumni and president of the Frontier Alumni Association, presented the scholarships to Lindsey Cross and Isabella Rinard.

Lindsey is the daughter of Linda Reynolds & Scott Cross. Lindsey applied to and was accepted to college at The West Virginia University of Parkersburg. Her goal is to get her bachelors degree in elementary education and become a teacher.

Isabella is the daughter of Tiffany and Eric Rinard. Isabella applied to and was accepted at Capital University. Her goal is to obtain her bachelor degree in communication or education. She would like to work for a nonprofit organization or as a teacher in either math or science.

The Alumni Association plans to award two more scholarships in the 2019-2020 school year. If you will be a senior in the 2019-2020 school year (or have a student enrolled) please see the Frontier High School guidance counselor Holly Cunningham (1990 alumni) for additional information and a scholarship application.
