Nominations for the Shenandoah High School Academic Hall of Fame sought
The Noble Local School District is making plans to induct the 2019 class of outstanding graduates into the SHS Academic Hall of Fame and is currently seeking nominations for the honor.
Honorees are graduates of Shenandoah High School who have achieved success in their careers and have made significant contributions to society. A period of seven years or more must have elapsed since the nominee graduated in order to be considered for induction. Anyone wishing to nominate a deserving graduate should call SHS Principal Justin Denius at 740-732-2361 or obtain a nomination form either in the high school office or online at gozeps.org.
Recipients shall be selected based upon the following criteria:
≤ Achievements while an SHS student.
≤ Outstanding achievement in vocational pursuits as evidenced by awards and/or honors conferred upon them by colleagues, organizations or the government.
≤ Contributions and/or volunteer activities within the community and/or government.
≤ Meritorious recognition for some action taken, services provided or exemplary accomplishment.
≤ Other criteria which may be brought before the selection committee internally or externally.
Forms must be completed and returned by the end of the business day Dec. 20. Inductees will be honored at the annual honors banquet with a dinner and induction ceremony to be scheduled for a later date.
