Marietta High students honored by Kiwanis Club
Marietta High School senior, Carli Robertson, received the Lester E. Noe Scholarship from the Kiwanis Club of Marietta. She received the award based on her grade point and successful service contribution to the Key Club and to the high school.
Carli received $1,000. During her three year membership in the club and co-president this past year, she increased club membership and participation including developing new projects. Carli plans to attend The Ohio State University in the fall, majoring in International Business on a pre-law track. She is the daughter of Glenn and Pamela Robertson.
The Lester E. Noe Scholarship, created by Virginia M. Noe, was established in memory of her husband, Past Kiwanis President, for his special, long-term interest and contribution to Kiwanis over a period of 37 years.
Reagan Loeber received a $500 Marietta High School Key Club scholarship. As a member of the Key Club for three years and co-president this past year, Reagan was instrumental in developing and implementing multiple successful service projects. Reagan plans to attend The Ohio State University in the fall, majoring in nursing. She is the daughter of Bradley and Jolee Loeber.
Some of the projects initiated by the Key Club include a Compliment Box, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Hat, Glove & Scarf Drive, Gospel Mission Halloween Bags, and Adopt a Teenager for Christmas.
