4-H Club News
The Trail Blazers had a meeting Sept. 14, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The 4-H pledge was led by Cassie Dennis and the American pledge was led by Tessa Haffner. There were 9 members and 6 guests present.
During the meeting new club t-shirts were handed out. Kids gave reports on the Washington County Fair. Congratulations to all. Report was given on the Hervida Lemon Shake Stand. Thank you to all who helped. Gave information on upcoming Barlow Fair. Worked on cleaning and painting the horse barn for community service. — Reported by Emily Hoffman and Cory Hoffman
The Trail Blazers had a meeting on October 9, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Sweet Apple Farm in Vincent. There were 24 members and 15 guests present. PJ Harshberger led the American pledge, and Helena Dowler led the 4-H pledge. The advisors gave out awards for non-livestock skillathon ribbons. Also gave out picture frames to all that showed at the Barlow Fair. Thank you to the Barlow Fairboard for donating the picture frames. They also gave out premium checks. The leaders also gave gifts to the seniors. The Trail Blazers had a cookout, hay ride, stuffed a scare crow, painted pumpkins. We all had a great time. The next meeting with be in February next year.
