• On Wednesday, Major Crimes Task Force agents along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Marietta Police Department conducted a search warrant at 101 Sunset Drive, Marietta. They located six plastic baggies containing 16.55 total grams of methamphetamine, baggies, scales and methamphetamine smoking pipes in a bedroom shared by Tina Darlene Frye and Paula Lynne Hadley. Agents also located two handguns in the closet of the shared bedroom. Frye said she provided Hadley with 0.5 grams of methamphetamine to transport drugs for her. Frye also admitted to selling methamphetamine for profit or trading for suboxone strips.

Agents determined Hadley and Frye were both under disability for possessing firearms. Frye was due to a conviction for distributing a quantity of cocaine through the Southern District of West Virginia Federal Court, and Hadley was due to a conviction for complicity to trafficking in drugs through the Washington County Common Pleas Court.

Frye, 35, of 101 Sunset Drive, Marietta, was placed under arrest for trafficking of methamphetamine (more than five times bulk, but less than 50 times bulk), a second-degree felony and weapons under disability, a third-degree felony.

Hadley, 55, of 101 Sunset Drive, Marietta, was placed under arrest for weapons under disability, a third-degree felony and permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony.

• A deputy responded to the Washington County Career Center, 21740 State Route 676, Marietta, Thursday for a report of a student found in possession of marijuana. Tyler Vex Prunty, 18, of 212 Market St., Marietta, admitted to bringing the marijuana to school and possessing it. A summons will be requested for Prunty through Marietta Municipal Court.

• A deputy was dispatched to Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, on Friday in reference to an unknown male at a residence knocking on the door asking for help with his truck and refusing to leave. The deputy met with Brandon Williamson and detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. Williamson’s eyes were glassy and bloodshot as well. Brandon Lee Williamson, 33, of 5140 Veto Road, Vincent, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. After arrival at the Washington County Jail Williamson tested .175.

Arrests/Washington County

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

• Rivierra Danielle Ryan, 28, of 270 Walnut Drive, Whipple, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Michael Andrew Wallace II, 25, of 105 Leland Ave., Marietta, was arrested on warrants for burglary, theft and parole violation, all felonies, and criminal damaging, a misdemeanor.

•Joshua Mark Whitstine, 25, of 3645 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.

Kenneth Lee Barnhart, age 38, 10274 State Route 660, Vincent, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

• Glenn Roger Johnson Jr., 32, of 116 Harmar St., Marietta, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony.

• Brandon Lee Williamson, 33, of 5140 Veto Road, Vincent, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.
