• An officer was dispatched to 702 Eighth St. on Feb. 12 in reference to Uriah Hill causing problems in the residence. It was learned that Hill was violating a protection order by being at the residence. He was arrested for violating the order.

• Marietta Middle School reported Feb. 12 that there were several students smoking in the building. One brought an e-cigarette to school and shared it with others.

• An officer investigated a theft complaint on Feb. 12 at Go Mart, 820 Pike St. The suspect stole four packs of cigarettes.

• Jordan L. Rhodes, of 802 ½ E. Eighth St. reported Feb. 12 a theft from a vehicle from the parking lot of 500 Pike St. He said a man approached his truck while he was stopped in the drive-thru and removed items from the bed.

• An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Jefferson Street near Pike Street in reference to an overdosed male driver. The driver was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital. Charges are pending.

• Walmart reported Feb. 14 that a man left the store without paying for a TV. The investigation is ongoing.

• Walmart reported a shoplifting on Feb. 14. It was learned that Samantha Jo Kuhn, of 114 E. Third St., Williamstown, attempted to steal $178.17 worth of merchandise from the store. Kuhn was charged with theft.

• As an officer was working security detail at the visitation center, an employee brought to his attention that a mother who had had a supervised visitation had stolen a diaper bag and baby blanket as she was leaving. The investigation is ongoing.

• During a traffic stop Feb. 14, the odor of marijuana was detected in the vehicle. Driver Ian Andrew Cicciarelli, of 130 Warner Second St., Lower Salem, admitted there was marijauna in the vehicle. A search produced three joints and paraphernalia. The driver was issued a citation for possesion of marijuana and possesion of marijuana paraphernalia.

• Walmart reported a shoplifter who fled the scene on Feb. 15. A man matching that description was located and identified as Jason Lee Gregory, of 17149 Malady Road, Mt. Orab. He was charged with theft.

• On Sunday, an officer recovered a suitcase in the parking lot of Marietta Middle School. The item was placed in the evidence room for safekeeping.

• An officer was dispatched to 120 Ward St. on Sunday in reference to an assault.

• Mark A. Stewart, of 1660 Glendale Road, reported Sunday the theft of a trailer. This case remains under investigation.

• On Monday, the department investigated a report of a sexual assault.

• Sherry McKenzie, of 111 Rathbone, reported Monday that an unknown subject used her identity and took money from a bank in Texas.

• Ashley D. Hardie reported Tuesday that she had been receiving cards and a letter from her ex-husband, against whom she has a protection order.

Reports/Washington County

• Deputies Hill responded to the 12300 block of Ohio 7 on Thursday in reference to a vehicle parked at that location having the windows broken out. This case remains under investigation.

• Elmer Wenzel reported a motor vehicle theft on Friday. Wenzel’s 1998 GMC truck was stolen from his residence on Ohio 26. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy was dispatched to a possible domestic violence incident on Saturday. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

•A deputy began a theft investigation Sunday in Independence Township. This case remains under investigation.

• On Sunday, a deputy was dispatched to Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, in reference to a female passed out in a vehicle in a driveway. It was reported that another vehicle drove by this location multiple times. The vehicle driving by the location was again observed and the deputy was able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was identified as Donovan Suttle and it was determined that he was driving under suspension. Three other occupants inside the vehicle were identified as Hadye Leek, Barry Thompson and Christopher Ledger. The Marietta City Police Department assisted with a K9, giving a positive indication on the vehicle. The occupants were detained and the vehicle was searched. Located were multiple syringes, small plastic baggies, glass smoking pipe (commonly used for meth) and a spoon with residue. All occupants were asked who the items belonged to, and no one would admit ownership. In speaking with Leek she admitted to having drugs concealed in her body cavity and voluntarily turned over the drugs. Hayde Marie Leek, 19, of 63 Thornberry Hill Drive, Parkersburg, was placed under arrest for tampering with evidence, possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Donavan Lyle Suttle, 31, of 63 Thornberry Hill Drive, Parkersburg, was placed under arrest for possession of drug abuse instruments, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. Christopher Ryan Ledger, 28, of 29385 E. Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, was placed under arrest for illegal use/or possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing drug abuse instruments and driving under suspension. Barry Glen Thompson, 56, of 1636 Winding Road, Parkersburg, was placed under arrest for illegal use/or possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing drug abuse instruments. All subjects were transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

• A deputy was dispatched Monday to the Dollar General, 10282 State Route 550, Vincent, for a report of an unidentified subject stealing items from the store. The subject had left the area in a vehicle with three females. While en route to the call a deputy observed a vehicle matching the description of the one given as the suspect vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the deputy noted the front passenger matched the description given of the suspect and she was identified as Sheena Kidd. Kidd initially denied being at Dollar General, however eventually stated she had just left the Barlow Dollar General and had stolen some items, being a backpack, Tide Pods, dryer sheets and a queen bed sheet set, all valued at $63.22. These items matched what was reported stolen and were later secured and turned back over to the Dollar General. Sheena Dee Kidd, 33, of 587 Morris Loop Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest for theft and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

•Shane Bowersock, of Beach Drive, Belpre, reported Monday the theft of a toolbox and tools. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy was dispatched to Warren Township Monday in reference to a teenager running away. The juvenile was located and charges of being unruly will be filed through Washington County Juvenile Court.

• Deputies were dispatched to 17824 State Route 550, Marietta, Tuesday for a report that Jeffery Beaver was making threatening comments. While deputies were still en route dispatch advised that Beaver had left the residence, for an unknown destination. A traffic stop was made on Beaver along Ohio 550, to check on his well-being. Beaver admitted to having an argument with his wife. Andrea Beaver reported they were arguing when Beaver made threatening remarks toward himself and then toward her. Jeffery Carlyle Beaver, 49, was placed under arrest for domestic violence.

• Deputies responded to the Hickory Grove store, 5525 State Route 339, Vincent, on Sunday to a possible disturbance in the parking lot. Dispatch obtained information that the subjects were Bradley Gill and Kaylee Hamrick, and they had left the business traveling southbound on Ohio 339. Contact was made with Hamrick via cellphone, and arrangements were made to speak with her. Hamrick was questioned regarding the incident at Hickory Grove. Hamrick reported that Gill had been drinking and the two engaged in a verbal argument. Hamrick further confirmed that Gill was belligerent to customers at the business. Hamrick said as the two were traveling, Gill was attempting to open the car door near Spence Road, and so she pulled over and he then walked toward a friend’s home. Gill was located near the intersection of Moody Ridge Road and Spence Road, unsteady on his feet and unable to walk without assistance. Bradley Matthew Gill, 19, of 467 McDonald Road, Waterford, was placed under arrest for underage drinking and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Gill was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

• Charles Church, of Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, reported Monday that his building was broken into and items of value removed. This case remains under investigation.

•On Tuesday, a deputy began an investigation in reference to a financial scam. This case remains under investigation.

• Violet McFadden, of County Road Nine, Marietta, reported Tuesday the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

• Stephan Paul Ritchie, of 1308 Williamson Ave., 3A, New Matamoras, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.

• Ethan Wade Ash, of 1365 Gilman Ave., Marietta, probation violation from a theft charge.

• Robert Eugene Flinn, of 1613 15th Ave., Parkersburg, failure to appear on a receiving stolen property charge.

• Starr Asia Johnson, of 908 Fourth St., Marietta, probation violation from a theft charge.

• James Wesley Ellison, of 506 Riverside Drive, St. Marys, W.Va., probation violation from a theft charge.

• Jessica Dawn Hart, of 2265 Tick Ridge Road, Lower Salem, failure to appear on a breach of recognizance charge.

• Gina Marie Loy, of 1201 County House Lane, C, Marietta, theft.

• Terrance J. Mason, of 1211 Putnam Howe Drive, Belpre, failure to appear.

• Zachary T. Shaw, of 2567Alaxandria Pike, Webster, Ky., failure to appear on a driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs charge.

• Joshua Lee Thompson, of 115 High St., Vincent, breach of recognizance, and two counts of failure to appear on a charge of domestic violence and theft.

• Jamie Annette Barton, of 65 Oregon Drive, Parkersburg, failure to appear on a possession of drugs charge.

• Tricia Ann Blair, of 708 Front St., 19, Marietta, breach of recognizance on an obstructing official business charge.

• Dwayne Scott Singer, of 2050 Roberts Road, Amesville, probation violation on a theft charge.

• Adrianna L. Smith, of 98 Boaz Garden Drive, #38, Williamstown, probation violation on a driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs charge.

• Harry Charles Manring, of 5223 Hard Scrapper Road, Wellston, failure to appear.

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

•Crystal Elaine Jeffers, 45, of 753 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.

• Jordan William Belford, 23, of 44681 Kraeg Ridge Road, Sardis, was arrested for failure to notify change of address, sex offender, a felony.

• Roger Lee Ward Jr., 40, of 1225 Weppler Road, Lowell, was arrested for two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both felonies.

• Andrea Michelle Lohoefener, 32, of 415 Barber Ave., Marietta, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, left of center and failure to comply with order or signal of a peace officer, all misdemeanors.

• Carrie Sue Britton, 32, of 290 Ridgewood Drive, Marietta, was arrested for nonsupport of dependents.

• Coy Leonard Smallwood, 27, of 1706 Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

•Cortney Dawn Pugh, 25, of 729 Greene St., Apt. A, Marietta, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

• Hayde Marie Leek, 19, of 63 Thornberry Hill Drive, Parkersburg, was arrested for tampering with evidence and possession of drugs, both felonies, possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

• Donavan Lyle Suttle, 31, of 63 Thornberry Hill Drive, Parkersburg, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension, all misdemeanors.

• Jeffery Carlyle Beaver, 49, of 17824 State Route 550, Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

• Angelo Antonio Vance Jr., 29, of 1720 Duff Road, New Matamoras, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
