• A deputy was dispatched to 1208 Oxbow Road, Belpre, on Friday in reference to Cheyenne Putnam reporting she had been assaulted by Tyler Belyus. Putnam and Belyus were in a verbal argument, while Belyus was in his vehicle, at which time Belyus grabbed Putnam by the arm and tried to pull her in the vehicle. Belyus, while arguing with Putnam, threw a bag of items (containing a glass jar and candle) and struck a juvenile in the face. Tyler Alan Belyus, 22, of 799 Hocking Road, Little Hocking, was placed under arrest for two counts of assault and transported to the Washington County Jail.

• A deputy responded to 4597 County Road 9 on Sunday in reference to a call from Robert McKitrick stating he was at home and Brenda McKitrick showed up. Robert Marion McKitrick, 65, of 4597 County Nine Road, Reno, was placed under arrest for violation of a protection order and transported to the Washington County Jail.

• On Sunday, a deputy responded to Vincent for a possible domestic violence incident. James Andrews reported being assaulted by Sarah Morris. Andrews stated as he was exiting and was walking down the stairs Morris pushed him from behind, causing him to fall. Andrews was able to protect the child he was holding from being injured, however he hit his head and shoulder. Injuries to Andrews were observed. Morris denied pushing Andrews. Based on the information provided Sarah Loise Morris, 30, of 9 Spring St., Apt. B, Vincent, was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

• Robert Cline reported a stolen four-wheeler from Dunham Township on Saturday. This case remains under investigation.

• Charlotte Nichols reported an ATV being stolen from a shed on the property in Dunham Township on Sunday. This case remains under investigation.

• On Sunday, a deputy assisted a resident with information relating to possible telephone harassment.

• On Monday, a deputy was on patrol when he observed a fire at Lakeside Golf Course, 18218 State Route 60, Beverly. The fire was under the wooden deck on the clubhouse. The deputy advised dispatch to summon the fire department, with the Beverly Fire Department responding soon after. The deputy began working on the fire with his fire extinguisher and was able to extinguish the flames. Fire department personnel continued to extinguish the hot spots on the deck.

• On Monday, a deputy responded to HHI Auto Sales, Hocking Road, Belpre, for a report of vehicle(s) being damaged. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to Enterprise Drive, Davis Pickering, and Co., Inc.on Monday in reference to a scam. This case remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to 3480 Dalzell Road, Whipple, on Monday. Amy Medley reported she came home and discovered an unidentified male subject asleep on her front porch. Medley reported she believed the male was in her residence, as she found a partially empty bottle of water in the living room, which was still cold. The male was advised of his rights and he identified himself as Elmer Wenzel, which was confirmed through an identification card. The deputy located a shoe impression which matched the tread of the boots Wenzel was wearing. Also noted was damage to a door jamb on the rear of the residence. No items were found to have been taken from the residence other than the bottle of water. Elmer Charles Wenzel, 28, of 17977 State Route 26, Reno was placed under arrest for burglary and transported to the Washington County Jail.

• A deputy was dispatched to 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, on Monday in regards to a domestic dispute. Shawn Strothers said during an argument Angela Smith began punching him with her fists. Strothers had visible red marks on his chest and head. Smith stated while they were shouting at each other Strothers wrapped his arms around her to restrain her and prevent her from assaulting him. Smith stated she broke free from being restrained and began scratching him in the chest and head, with Strothers going outside and the altercation ending. Angela Marie Smith, 40, of 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

• On Tuesday, a deputy requested a summons be issued through Washington County Juvenile Court for a 17-year-old juvenile on a charge of grand theft, greater than $7,500, a fourth-degree felony, and obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony. On Aug. 10, 2018, the theft of a Polaris RZR side-by-side was reported by Larry Wheeler Jr., of 671 Muskingum River Road, Marietta. The vehicle was later recovered in a wooded area off of Muskingum River Road. Two juveniles were developed as suspects and interviews were conducted. After completing the investigation it was determined that the one juvenile would be summoned into court.

• On Tuesday, a deputy met with James Andrews who was reporting Sarah Morris had violated the temporary protection order he has against her. The TPO was found to be in effect at this time. A warrant was requested for Sarah L Morris, 30, of 9 Spring Ave., Vincent, on a charge of violation of a protection order.

• A deputy was dispatched to a possible domestic incident on Tuesday. After completing the investigation it was determined that charges of domestic violence would be filed on the juvenile.

• A deputy began an investigation Tuesday in reference to a scam through Facebook Marketplace. This case remains under investigation.

• Taccaro Preuan Saunders, 37, of 205 Locust St., Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Tyler Alan Belyus, 22, of 799 Hocking Road, Little Hocking, was arrested for two counts of assault, both misdemeanors.

• Angela Dawn Duelley, 30, of 122 East Main St., Belpre, was arrested for possession of drugs, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors.

• Nathan Perry Simmons, 45, of 3030 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

• Scott Lee Tippee, 38, of 208 Oak Drive, Athens, was arrested for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

• Sarah Loise Morris, 30, of 2011 Washington Blvd., Apt. 11, Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

• Robert Marion McKitrick, 65, of 4597 County Nine Road, Reno, was arrested for violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.

• Dustin Eric Ashcroft, 29, of 2210 Pride Ave., Belpre, was arrested for inducing panic, a felony, using weapons while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

• Ices Ann Brown, 25, of 720 29th St., Parkersburg, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Micheal Scott Welch, 28, of 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, was arrested for driving under suspension, fictitious plates and failure to control, all misdemeanors.

• Scotty Joseph Byers, 35, of 1321 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arrested for violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.

• Anthony Glenn Davis, 31, of 35318 Derry Lane Road, Langsville, was arrested for probation violation, a felony, and theft, a misdemeanor.

• Brissy Janey, 24, of 18692 Laurel Run Road, Nelsonville, was arrested for driving under suspension, speed and no seat belt, all misdemeanors.

• Angela Marie Smith, 40, of 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

• Chelsey Dawn Mender, 35, of 315 N. Seventh St., Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

• Elmer Charles Wenzel, 28, of 17977 State Route 26, Reno, was arrested for burglary, a felony.

• Wayne David Miller, 42, of 2460 State Route 145, Lower Salem, was arrested for contempt, failure to appear, a felony.

• Brandon Lee Gibbs, 26, of 515 Smith St., Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.

• Bryan Lee Eddy, 28, of 714 Fourth St., Marietta, was arrested for violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.

• Kelsey Grace Thompson, 18, of 117 Dean St., Marietta, was arrested for driving under OVI suspension and contempt, failure to appear, misdemeanors.

• James Frederick Obrien II, 41, of 148 Warner St., Marietta, was arrested for driving under suspension, failure to display, domestic violence, all misdemeanors, and domestic violence, a felony.

• Andrew Adam Crites, 38, of 514 Florence St., Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
