•A deputy began an investigation Monday into rented vehicles that had not been returned. This case remains under investigation.
•On Tuesday, Steven Allen Siegel, 31, of 502 Kanawha St., Parkersburg, was incarcerated in the Washington County Jail. Deputy Tullius received an active arrest warrant out of Wood County, W.Va., for the charge of child neglect resulting in serious injury. Siegel was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

The following people were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
• Vernon Grant Tunstall, 31, of 125 E. 156th St., Apt. 714, Cleveland, was arrested for possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl, both felonies.
• Robert Edward Carpenter, 20, of 209 Scammel St., Apt. 7, Marietta, was arrested for underage consumption and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.
• Raymond Eugene Russell, 44, of 141 Franklin St., Marietta, was arrested for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.
• Richard Thomas Kyle, 34, homeless, was arrested for parole violation and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.
