•On Thursday, William Roscoe Sayles III, 61, of Zanesville, was brought to the Washington County Jail on a warrant out of Wood County, W.Va., on a charge of fleeing from an officer. The information was confirmed and found to be the same subject. A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Sayles.
•A deputy began an investigation Thursday into catalytic converter(s) being removed from vehicles at a business. This case remains under investigation.
•A deputy began an investigation Friday in reference to a home being struck with a bullet in Warren Township. This case remains under investigation.
•A deputy was dispatched to Aurelius Township on Friday for a report of Julie Burer stating her husband, Mark Burer, had hit her. Julie said during an argument with Mark he grabbed her and eventually caused her to bleed. Julie did state she struck back at Mark. Mark advised he was in bed when Julie attacked him. Due to both subjects drinking and showing signs of impairment, a summons will be requested for both Julie D. Burer, 50, and Mark Paul Burer, 53, of 112 Porter St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication.
•A deputy responded to 530 Rummer Road, Marietta, on Sunday in reference to a report of a dog running loose from the residence onto neighboring property. A neighbor stated that while on her porch a German Shepherd belonging to Damien Thompson got out of the fence and ran up on the porch trying to attack a cat. The neighbor was afraid, not knowing what the dog would do. Contact was made with Thompson as this was the third time a deputy had been to the home for this dog being loose. Based on the investigation, the deputy is requesting a summons for Damien Trevor Thompson, 28, for failure to restrain dogs.

• Heather Denise Rex, 35, of 807 Mitchell Ave., Apt. 24, Beverly, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
