¯ On Feb. 17, Norman B. Windland, 62, of 2392 Wildwood Lake Road, Little Hocking, was traveling northbound on Ohio 555 in Belpre Township near the intersection of U.S. 50. His 2011 Chevy Silverado went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and traveled up a small embankment. He struck a parked unattended camper before fleeing the scene. He was cited for operating without being in reasonable control of the vehicle.
¯ Dustin Michael Mayle, 36, of 6789 Sayer Lane, Chesterhill, was southbound on Ohio 78 in Homer Township on Feb.21. His 1995 Chevy Silverado ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a snow covered embankment. He was cited for operating without being in reasonable control of the vehicle. Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor.
¯ Johnnie Lewis Divens, 54, of 6613 Brookshire Drive, Richmond, Va., was eastbound Feb. 24 on Ohio 577 in Penn Township when his 2015 Freightliner Conventional went off the left side of the roadway and struck utility wires. He was cited for not having the load on his semi secured.
¯ A two car accident occurred Feb. 25 at the intersection of Ohio 339 and County Road 30 in Dunham Township. Dennis Pottmeyer, 54, of 1460 Olinn Road, Marietta, and Megan Ann Treadway, 22, of 30 Hanover Road, Cutler, were both traveling northbound on Ohio 339. Pottmeyer had stopped his 2015 Ford F-150 in the roadway. Treadway failed to maintain an assured clear distance with her 2002 Isuzu Rodeo and struck Pottmeyer’s vehicle. Treadway was cited for traveling at a greater speed than will permit the driver to stop in an assured clear distance ahead.
¯ Deputies were dispatched Monday to 1750 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell, to a report of a domestic related incident. Alvin Biehl stated his stepson, Travis E. Williams, 24, was acting belligerent and tearing things up around the residence. Biehl stated the two were engaged in an argument over Williams tracking mud into the residence. During the argument, Williams threatened to split Biehl’s head open. Williams was interviewed and admitted to the statement. Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Tuesday into the Bartlett Mini Storage buildings being entered. This case remains under investigation.
¯ On Thursday in the area of Park Avenue, New Matamoras, deputies observed Jason Lee Strickler in the area of the Dollar General Store. Deputies knew the subject and that he had a warrant out of West Virginia. Strickler, 42, of 765 Danas Run Road, Newport, confirmed his identity. Strickler was placed under arrest for the warrant out of Pleasants County, W.Va..

¯ Derek Lee Stalder, 34, of Lancaster, was arrested for theft, a felony, and criminal damaging, a misdemeanor.
¯ Angela Sue Nutter, 42, of Waverly, W.Va., was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Shannon Marie Ewing, 32, of Vienna, was arrested for parole violation and possession of drugs, both felonies.
¯ Kenneth Ray McIntire Jr., 55, of Marietta, was arrested for aggravated menacing and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.
¯ Aaron Douglas Schultz, 23, of Vincent, was arrested for rape, a felony.
¯ Roger Wayne Knapp, 40, of Lockbourne, was arrested for domestic violence, menacing, both misdemeanors, and probation violation, a felony.
¯ Tyson Chad Hill, 39, of Marietta, was arrested for involuntary manslaughter, a felony.
¯ Amanda Ricole Hatcher, 30, of Ripley, W.Va., was arrested for two counts of possession of drugs, both felonies.
