¯ A deputy issued a citation Feb. 28 to Joshua Muntz, of 15 Julian St., Newport, for driving under suspension.
¯ A deputy began an investigation March 2 into a financial scam in Muskingum Township. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy spoke to employees at Hometown Honda on March 2 that recovered a driver’s license belonging to Wesley Lockhart. Lockhart stated he received a phone call from an employee with Hometown Honda saying they had found his driver’s license in the parking lot. While Lockhart was en route to Hometown Honda, he looked and noted that he had his license. Lockhart was able to identify that the license was a fake one that someone had printed off and taped to a Hometown Honda gift card.
Lockhart stated he was just there on Feb. 27 to make a purchase, and a copy of his license was made by the employee there. Upon reviewing the video footage where Lockhart was there, Terry Williams can be observed picking up a copy of Lockhart’s driver’s license which was printed out on the printer. Williams met with the deputy and admitted to making an extra copy of the license and affixing to an old gift card. Williams could not give an answer as to why he would do that.
Terry Austin Williams, 24, of 1337 New England Ridge Road, Washington, W.Va., will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of forgery.
¯ A deputy was dispatched Wednesday to 255 Front Drive, New Matamoras, to a report that Virginia Stock had been assaulted while sitting on a picnic table in the area of Front Drive. Stock stated that a van stopped across from her and the passenger exited the van, approaching her. Stock stated the female approached her and struck her approximately three times with a closed fist.
Stock reported the female was Kristy Templeton. Attempted contact with Templeton yielded negative results. A summons is being requested for Kristy Gayle Templeton, 43, of 1308 Williamson Ave., Apt. 1A, New Matamoras, on a charge of assault.
¯ A sergeant began an investigation Thursday into a financial scam in Marietta Township. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Friday into a financial scam in Dunham Township. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A lieutenant responded Friday to Pioneer Automall Collision Center in reference to catalytic converters being removed from two separate vehicles. This case remains under investigation.

¯ Paul Kenneth Christopher, 51, of Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Amber Dawn Starcher, 23, of Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Rebecca Jo Craven, 27, of Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Yvonne Marie Brandt, 36, of Lancaster, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol .204 of 1 percent or more, a felony; and OVI and improper window tint, both misdemeanors.
¯ Nicole Jane Wenzel, 34, of Caldwell, was arrested for nonsupport of dependents.
¯ Derek Jerome Waterman, 27, of Lowell, was arrested for two counts of domestic violence, both felonies.
¯ Casey Troy Carpenter, 24, of Lowell, was arrested for domestic violence, criminal damaging and drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.
¯ Stephen Robert Baker Jr., 35, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
