¯ A sergeant was dispatched Friday to 14350 State Route 555, Cutler, in reference to Matthew Rooney beating up a juvenile. Rooney advised the juvenile shook a music stand at him. Rooney thought the juvenile was going to make it into a weapon, as he/she was holding it like a rifle. After conducting the investigation and speaking with all witnesses to the incident, the sergeant placed Matthew Allen Rooney, 42, under arrest for domestic violence.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Sunday into a stolen vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
¯ Tashara Unique Byrd, 29, of Cleveland, was arrested for three counts of possession of drugs, two felonies and one misdemeanor.
¯ Paul Charles Wright, 33, of Marietta, was arrested for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, domestic violence, falsification and criminal damaging, all misdemeanors.
¯ Joshua David Murphy, 32, of Torch, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Rebecca Dawn Sparks, 38, of Marietta, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Mark Andrew Lowers, 28, of Vincent, was arrested for driving under suspension and no seatbelt, both misdemeanors.
¯ Matthew Allen Rooney, 42, of Cutler, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony.
¯ Ronald Lee Kesner, of Parkersburg, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.
¯ Leah Ann Hardman, of Marietta, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless operation and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.
¯ Cody Jay Wriston, 28, of Marietta, was arrested for breach of recognizance, a felony.
¯ Elijah Ishmael Reid Williams, 28, of West Orange, N.J., was arrested for attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, all felonies.
