¯ A deputy responded May 9 to Federal Road, Decatur Township, to a citizen reporting a suspicious vehicle in their driveway. The vehicle, a Pontiac 4-door sedan bearing Ohio registration, was in the driveway with the engine running, and the vehicle in gear. The driver was observed slumped over towards the center console. Attempts to wake the driver met with negative results. It became apparent that forcible entry would be needed into the vehicle. The driver, Gerald Gary, continued to go in and out of consciousness. Medical attention was given to Gary. When asked what Gary had used he stated “a line,” approximately two hours prior, and stated it was an “opiate, heroin, fentanyl or both.” Gary was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital Belpre Campus and a citation for not having physical control of a motor vehicle was filed on Gerald W. Gary, 47, of Sealey Ridge Road, Vincent.

¯ A deputy responded to Cutler on May 9 to a report of Misty Sealey grabbing a juvenile by the throat, pushing her into a wall, and swinging a wooden paddle at her.

After speaking with all parties involved, Misty Gene Sealey, 39, of Cutler, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.

¯ A deputy began an investigation May 9 into a domestic violence incident.

Arrests/Washington County

The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:

¯ Reginald Terrel Sims, 29, of Belpre, was arrested for assault, aggravated menacing, and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors; and failure to comply with order or signal of police officer elude or flee, a felony.

¯ Justin Michael Seymour, 41, of Middleport, was arrested for failure to comply, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Mary Alice Brooks, 40, of Newport, was arrested for theft, a felony.

¯ Darlene Marie Seckman, 31, of Zanesville, was arrested for tampering with evidence, and two counts of possession of drugs, all felonies.

¯ Gary Dale Stafford, 43, of Zanesville, was arrested for nonsupport of dependents, misdemeanors; and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, and two counts of possession of drugs, all felonies.

¯ Amy Lee Grosselin, 46, of Belpre, was arrested for speed and failure to reinstate, both misdemeanors.

¯ David Lee Golden, 48, of Belington, W.Va., was arrested for failure to comply, a felony; OVI, no operator’s license, and reckless operation, all misdemeanors.

¯ Denise Rena Strode, 48, of Marietta, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Jessica Fawn Strode, 36, of Beverly, was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

¯ Daniel Allen Rohr, 27, of Belpre, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor; and breaking and entering and possession of drugs, both felonies.

¯ Daniel Armando Banales, 41, of Parkersburg, was arrested for contempt of court and five counts of theft, all misdemeanors.

¯ Lloyd Eugene Lauderman Jr., 67, of Marietta, was arrested for failure to reinstate operator’s license and failure to control, both misdemeanors.

¯ Brian Keith Edgar, 34, of Whipple, was arrested for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
