Pamelia Rustemeyer Maki, 71, of Belmont, WV, passed away, Dec. 31, 2018 in Belmont, WV. She was born, May 3, 1947, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of Elsie Rustemeyer Cline and husband, David of Sistersville, WV, and the late Edward Rustemeyer. She was a 1965 graduate of Sistersville High School, and was a member of the marching band. She had worked previously with Corning Glass of Paden City, WV, she had sold Home Interior, she had been a nurse’s aide with Marietta Memorial Hospital. She had worked at Newport IGA, and she had been co-owner of Jabs Pizza. She was a Catholic and was a member of the Gideons. Nanny as she was affectionately called, loved all of her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael Maki, three daughters, Kristine (Matt) Efaw of St. Marys, WV, Tabitha (Russell) Holt of Marietta, OH, and Michele Maki of Belmont, WV, grandchildren, Jared Efaw, Cameron Efaw, and Jayten Efaw of St. Marys, WV, Andrew Sutherland, Rylan Holt, and Reed Holt all of Marietta, OH, step-grandson, Rogan (Reiss) Holt of Florida, brothers, Clay (Deena) Rustemeyer of Florida and Greg Rustemeyer of Columbus, OH, sister, Patsy (Tom) Gift of Friendly, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Maki in August of 1969, grandson, Brandan Sutherland, and a brother, David Rustemeyer.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2018 at the Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys, WV, with Fr. Chuck McGinnis officiating. Interment will be in the Friendly Cemetery, Friendly, WV. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from noon to 1 p. m. Friday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
