Ruby M. Hendershot

Ruby M. Hendershot went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday afternoon (May 10, 2020) at the Belpre Landing Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 22, 1926, in Graysville to Mary and Everett Wallace. She was a homemaker and also worked at Harts Department Store. She was a member of Bethel Lighthouse Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and could always be counted on to provide delicious noodles and pies for them to enjoy. She could also be counted on to encourage others and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry D. and his wife Debra, and Gary L. and his wife Vickie, both of Marietta. Six grandchildren, Larry Michael Hendershot and his wife Lori, Heather Michelle Davis and her husband, Neil, Amy Leigh Saho and her husband, Brian, Gary Matthew Hendershot and his wife Katie, Mark Edward Hendershot and his wife Emily, and Melanie Beth Lamb and her husband Ethan; and nine great-grandchildren, Hannah Renee and Sarah Beth Saho, Allison Nicole and Levi James Davis, Leigha Grace Hendershot, Matilyn Rose Hendershot, Lillian Jane and Garrison Wade Hendershot, Ruby Jean Lamb; and one great-great grandchild, Caleb James Saho. Surviving sisters and brothers, Charles (Maxine) Wallace, Shirley (Donald) Howell, Betty (Vernon) Howell, Lawrence (Diana) Wallace.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Hendershot, her parents and two brothers, Herbert and Emmett Wallace.

Private visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 until 1:00 with graveside services following in Masterton Cemetery in Lebanon, Ohio. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
