Yvonne Eschbaugh, 86, of Buells Circle, Marietta passed away Saturday, September, 12 at the Harmar Place surrounded by her family. She was born on February 14, 1934 in Salesville, Ohio to Homer and Ida Lent. She attended Quaker City High School. On July 15, 1950, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” and they enjoyed over 70 years together.
Yvonne moved to Marietta in 1972. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was always in attendance at their sporting events. Yvonne was a member of Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Reno, Ohio.
Yvonne is survived by her husband William; two sons: Terry and his wife Robin, Mark and his wife Dianne; five grandsons: Ryan (Julie), Nathan (Ashley), Zane, William, and Gabriel; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Montgomery of Cambridge; one sister in law: Carolyn Lent of St. Clairsville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, parents Homer and Ida, brother Charles Lent, and brother in law Gerald Montgomery.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta where services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 15 with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM in Friends Cemetery in Quaker City.
