Danny Rymer, 70, of Marietta, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb. 4, 2021, after an extended illness.
He was born October 29, 1950, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to the late Scott Rymer of Parkersburg and the late Alma Lee Halker of Marietta.
He was a Private First Class of The US Army. A Vietnam Veteran. A life Member of the DAV. A Member of The Fraternal Order of The Eagles.
He had a love for Music he played guitar and harmonica. And he loved to sing. He enjoyed his motorcycle “Archangel” and cars. Some would say he was a “True Gear Head.” He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by one brother, James J. Rutherford (Carolyn) of Marietta and one sister, Beth Ann Page (Steve) of Marietta. Sister in Law Maryann Fallon of Marietta. Four nieces, Rachael Rutherford, Amanda Rutherford, Brittany Rutherford all of Marietta, Kayla Rutherford of Columbus, one nephew Steven Page of Vermilion. Ralph Ringer (Family) of Parkersburg. Jerry Corbitt (Family) of Kentucky.
He is preceded in Death by his Parents, one brother Robert Rutherford, nephew Jarod Rutherford of Marietta. Margaret and Argil Corbitt of Vienna, W.Va.
To honor his wishes, Military Burial will take place in Grafton, W.Va. At the convenience of the family.
