Neva Jean (Davis) Swartz, 89, of Williamstown, West Virginia, passed away on May 17, 2024.

She was born November 19, 1934 in Parkersburg, West Virginia the eldest daughter of Earl and Eleanor Arlene Davis.

Neva graduated from Marietta High School with the class of 1952. She married Harold W. Swartz on October 3rd, 1953 and they had just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

After raising her four children, she was employed by Williamstown High School as a cook for 21 1/2 years.

Neva & Harold faithfully attended Twin Rivers Baptist Church. She loved sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, daughters, Susan Watson (Neal), Teresa Wagoner (Randy), Lori Cosenza (George), and son, Jeff Swartz (Darlene), ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Ellen Bingman (Steve) and many nieces.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Davis.

Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Ann Sisson and the Amedisys Hospice team for the care, love, and compassion Neva was shown during her illness.

A private cremation will be held at Hadley Funeral Home in Marietta, Ohio.
