Gerald William Miller of Waterford, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Gerald was born on December 14, 1944 in Waterford, Ohio, son of the late Hayward and Sylvia Meiser Miller. He was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Waterford High School in 1962. He had worked and retired from Marietta Silos. Gerald loved life and farming and most importantly spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie (Andrew) Thomas of Meyersdale, PA and Saundra (David) Kesterson of Fleming, OH; three grandchildren, Aiden Thomas, Noah Thomas and Carly Kesterson; three sisters, Anne Miller Cohen of Granville, OH, Mary Miller Newsad of Chandersville, OH and Jo Deakins of Columbia, MO, one brother, Mike Miller, Waterford.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, of 49 years, along with his parents and one brother, James Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Timothy Kozak officiating. The burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
