Marion Worthy Morrow went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2025. He was born in Marietta on October 30, 1933 to Worthy P. and Eliza M. Morrow. He attended Barlow Grade School, Harmer School, and graduated from Marietta High School (Class of 1951). On September 4, 1953 he married Barbara Ann Alexander.

He is survived by his four sons: Daniel Morrow and his wife Kimberly of Palmyra, MO; Ronald Morrow and his wife Pamela of Marietta, OH; Todd Morrow and his wife Debra of Marietta, OH; and Kevin Morrow and his wife Rebecca of Joplin, MO; his four grandchildren, Kayla Morrow of The Colony, TX, Shane Spencer of Frisco, TX, and Morgan and Cody Morrow of Marietta, OH; three step grandchildren, David, Ashlee and Leslee; six great grandchildren: Evie, Indigo, Rainy, Shelby, Shayla, 10 great step-grandchildren and his sister Freda Morrow Simmermon of Larue, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara (died Aug 18, 2003), and grandson Justin M. Morrow.

Marion worked at The Marietta Times, Pinkerton’s Restaurant, the Marietta Frozen Food Locker, and B.F. Goodrich Co. He retired from B.F. Goodrich/R.J.F. Intl on April 1, 1996, after 44 years.

He served in the U.S. Army with the Third Armored Division and the Fourth Infantry Division, 22nd Tank Regiment during the German Occupation and the beginning of the Cold War. He also served for 13 years in the Ohio National Guard.

He was a member of the following organizations: American Legion Post 64, life member of Post 5108 Veterans of Foreign Wars, life member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association, life member of the 4th Infantry Division Association, and member of the Ohio Chapter of the 4th Infantry Division Association.

He was also a member of Pinehurst Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Hadley Funeral Home 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH. with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
