Margaret Ann Yeager (Wykle), 91, of Marietta, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in the care of Waterview Pointe. Her daughter, Lauren, and granddaughter, Erin, were at her side and she passed peacefully thanks to the loving care of her nurses and caregivers at Waterview. Margaret was well known in the community when she served as a city council woman. Those closest to her knew her well from her years of dedication as a wonderful Girl Scout leader alongside her co-leader, Jean Kelso. Margaret is survived by her son, David Yeager (Rita) and her daughter, Lauren Dutton (Dave), eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis McLauren Yeager. Like Lew, she donated her body to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will be among those recognized at the annual service for families of donors. The family will hold a private memorial for her.
